WILDCATS WIN THEIR POOL AND EARN SPOT IN CHAMPIONSIP ROUND !!!


The boys played and toughed it out like a team today and took out some major opponents on the first day of the State 7on7 Tournament being held in College Station at the intramural fields on the Texas A&M campus. They beat the Katy Tigers in the first game - Katy won the 4A State Championship last year and was ranked # 2 in the pre-tournament polls. The following is a listing of their scores:

  • Plano 46 - Katy 20
  • Plano 51 - New Braunsfel Canyon 25
  • Plano 47 - Beaumont West Brook 34

    • JV WILDCATS PLACE 3rd IN 2009 STATE 7-on-7 TOURNAMENT !!!


    The JV WILDCATS made it to the semifinals and ended up third. They beat Arlington High School, the favorite to win the tournament to advance to the semifinals but lost there to Hebron, a team they had beaten three times this season in close games. Hebron ended up winning the state 7-on-7 championship after they beat the JV Wildcats. Plano West also made it to the semifinals, and The JV WILDCATS beat them in a subsequent game for the third place spot !!! Way to go boys - we are extremely proud of all your hard work - it has obviously paid off. Now, let's keep the momentum rolling into the fall !!!
